Northumberland County Real Estate Neighbourhoods

Northumberland County is a wonderful place to live.  From waterfront townhouses to Century homes to 50-acre hobby farms, there's no place in the world that can offer a better way of life — and no better realtor to help you turn your dream of living here into a reality.  Tony Pulla is not just a knowledgeable, successful real estate broker with over 40 years of professional experience behind him — he's also an involved, supportive member of the Northumberland community.

The rolling hills of Northumberland County are home to eight attractive, welcoming neighbourhoods, and to the dozens of picturesque villages and hamlets within them. From the best-preserved heritage main street in Port Hope to the Cobourg harbourfront; from the charms of Presqu'ile Provincial Park in Brighton to the laid-back lifestyle on Rice Lake, each area has its own unique flavour and offers something special to those who call it home.

Northumberland's communities are waiting to welcome you.

Municipality of Alnwick/Haldimand

The municipality of Alnwick/Haldimand stretches from Rice Lake across the Oak Ridges Moraine to Lake Ontario. With rolling hills and stunning views in every direction — including the beautiful Northumberland Forest — the villages nestled throughout this rural landscape offer lifestyles ranging from peaceful to active. The decision is yours to make!

Municipality of Brighton

Brighton retains the spirit of the area's early settlers, who established some of the finest apple orchards in Canada. (The town still enthusiastically celebrates the apple harvest every fall with its "Applefest" event.) Truly charming, and long-known as a summer resort town, Brighton is surrounded by farms. Glimpses of the town's agricultural past can be seen everywhere.

Town of Cobourg

The largest town in Northumberland County, Cobourg still retains its small-town atmosphere, in part due to the Heritage Conservation District status of the downtown and surrounding residential area.

Cramahe Township

Like so much of Northumberland County, Cramahe Township is set amid rolling hills and tree-lined vistas. A community filled with colour and life, the rustic and the sophisticated, the historic and the modern, exist here in easy harmony. The region has seen steady growth and remains home to both thriving business and a pleasant and unique way of life.

Hamilton Township

Bordered by Lake Ontario to the south, and Rice Lake to the north, the rural communities of Hamilton Township offer a laid-back, comfortable way of life, with all the convenience of being just minutes from the nearest town centres, and approximately an hour's drive from the Greater Toronto Area.

Municipality of Port Hope

But Port Hope stands out for much more than its architecture and its history. With all the charm and friendliness of a small town, and all the vibrancy and sophistication of a modern community, Port Hope offers a rare and appealing way of life to those who call it home.

Rice Lake Region

The lake lies amid rolling farmland and hills wooded with maple, oak and pine. The shore is deeply indented, and in many places marshes rich with wildlife extend into the waters. A popular tourist spot, Rice Lake is bordered by a number of quaint villages and hamlets.

Municipality of Trent Hills

Strategically located along the Trent Severn Waterway, just north of Highway 401, Trent Hills is a vibrant area ideally suited to both business and rural living. Trent Hills offers country living in some of the most picturesque rural landscapes in Ontario.

Beyond Northumberland

Over the years, as Tony and the Pulla Team have explored and become intimately familiar with every corner of Northumberland County, the name “Tony Pulla” has become synonymous with excellent real estate service throughout the region.
